Music Partnerships Manager

We are looking for a Music Partnership Manager to work in the Music department, reporting into the Director of Music Distribution. This is a full-time position based in our HQ Stockholm, Sweden.

Job Summary:

The DSP Key Account Manager is responsible for driving sales and growth for our catalog by meeting target KPIs on assigned accounts. The successful candidate will manage both strategy and relationships with DSPs, ensuring operational excellence within the team. This full-time position is located at our headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with DSP partners, ensuring that our catalog receives the attention it deserves through playlisting opportunities
  • Pitch releases effectively through both direct interactions and platform tools like Spotify for Artists, maximizing revenue and visibility
  • Provide release descriptions for selected tags/artists based on templates or artist quotes
  • Actively seek out and establish new relationships with DSPs globally, expanding our reach and driving growth
  • Timely report performance metrics for assigned accounts
  • Leverage data insights to improve streams, visibility, and revenue of the catalog on DSPs
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the streaming landscape and communicate information internally
  • Contribute to team OKRs to achieve initiatives, processes, and programs
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices
  • Work as an internal liaison between relevant stakeholders in order to ensure we deliver according to deal terms and meet set goals
  • Support improvement of partnership productivity focused on implementation and reporting standardization

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of the music industry
  • 5+ years industry experience, including 2+ years in a similar position
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue through key account management
  • Comprehensive understanding of a broad range of musical genres
  • In-depth knowledge of leading digital music platforms
  • Solid grasp of sales strategy and its application in enhancing DSP performance
  • Strong analytical thinking skills, with a proven ability to work with complex analytical tasks to maximize results
  • Detail-oriented approach, ensuring information accuracy and completeness

Preferred Qualifications/ Bonus Skills:

  • Strong organizational, administrative, and structured skills
  • High initiative skills, proactively identifying opportunities and issues, and taking action to capitalize or resolve them
  • Highly skilled in prioritizing and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
