Early 2024, EQT and Adelis took a decisive step to jointly invest in HVD Group, further expanding our fantastic group with the addition of Next One Technology and Craftnote. HVD group provides cloud-based software to customers working in the field of installation and construction across Europe, offering modern solutions to an entire industry in dire need of digitalisation. Our mission is to enable and drive an industry transformation, enhancing efficiency and sustainability for all customer segments- one business at a time! We are currently 550 employees across the group, operating in the Nordics, Germany and UK, with well over 13 000 customers and 160 000 platform users

As a group, all of our business units are currently undergoing a migration into a consolidated Salesforce.com CRM system, with part of the organization already live. As part of this migration process, we are looking to implement new best practices, processes and reporting standardisations across the entire group. In order to streamline this exciting journey, we are looking for an experienced Salesforce professional who is eager to be a part of our journey in defining, and building a best of breed system!

Role description:

As a Salesforce developer you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of all our salesforce applications within HVD Group. Your primary focus will be custom Salesforce development and integration toward third-party services, providing guidance and support to ensure adherence to best practices. At times, this will include working with external consultants, and vendors in the integrations, and developments of the HVD Group Salesforce environment. You will be heavily engaged with various teams and stakeholders across the organization, hence it requires you to have a collaborative and problem solving attitude, where the commitment to creating quality products is essential.

Responsibilities of this role include:

• Translating functional requirements into technical requirements
• Designing and building high-performance, reusable, and reliable Apex code with best practices
• Ensuring the best possible quality and usage of the application
• Taking ownership of project work, and developing relationships across the organisation (should be a confident self-starter)
• Identifing bugs and aligning with requirements during debugging
• Test bug fixes to make sure they work as per requirements, then deploy them to production

Skills and Qualifications required:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Salesforce developer, including a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, its architecture, and its limitations.
• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce development tools.
• Knowledge of web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Salesforce developer certifications, such as Platform Developer I and II, are highly desirable.
