Job Description

We're looking for someone to join our QA team to contribute in the following ways:

  • Developing testing scripts for general use, positive/negative testing, and user flow
  • Performing adhoc testing to identify likely areas of concern
  • Writing detailed bug reports including reproduction steps and rates
  • Working with the web team to identify issues before they happen
  • This testing is roughly 60% new development and 40% code fixes
  • Experience developing automated test cases using Selenium with Java
  • 50% manual 50% Automated workload
Skills & Requirements
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving
  • Comfort with tasking bugs and retest tracking
  • High attention to detail and nuances of software usage
  • Comprehensive understanding of software paths and user workflow
  • Understanding of writing or executing test scripts
  • Ability to establish a system, procedures and direct a group for full testing
  • Comfortable working under pressure and staying on task
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools, such as JIRA
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development
  • Should be highly detail oriented
  • Thrive in a collaborative team environment
  • 1-2 years of experience testing or developing software

  • Passion for software and technology
  • Interest software development
  • Interest in business and technology solutions
  • Test automation experience (Robot, Selenium w/Java, JMeter, Postman, Cucumber)
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, PHP, Python, GIT, Bitbucket, Maven
  • Experience with load and unit testing
  • Selenium experience, or familiarity with other web testing platforms
