The role
Join us as a Data Architect and play a pivotal role in shaping our data landscape! Reporting directly to the DAI Manager of ICT, you will be at the forefront of delivering our department’s vision through agile process development and lifecycle management. In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders and team members to define, design, and maintain a cutting-edge data architecture that encompasses data integration processes, business intelligence systems, and robust database solutions.
Your key responsibility will be to provide technical coordination, guidance, and support in the deployment of complex BI solutions for the organization across the project lifecycle. You will translate conceptual data models into practical, physical models, ensuring seamless data flow and integrity across the organization.
In addition to architecture design, you will engage in project planning, working closely with stakeholders to gather business requirements and transform them into powerful data solutions. Your ability to analyze these requirements will be crucial in developing frameworks that not only meet immediate needs but also align with our long-term strategic goals. You will provide technical guidance in deploying complex BI solutions, ensuring that our data systems are not only functional but also efficient and user-friendly.

As an expert of data quality, you will strive to enhance data organization and accuracy throughout the organization. You
You are a skilled problem-solver with strong analytical abilities, capable of addressing complex data challenges. Your persuasive communication helps you engage effectively with diverse stakeholders and data specialists. As a team player, you thrive under pressure, maintaining composure while delivering results. Your attention to detail ensures data accuracy and upholds high standards of quality.
Further:
- You have a minimum of 5 years of working experience in a comparable role.
- You have a keen interest and extensive expertise in data services (Microsoft Azure/Snowflake).
- You have familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile development environment.
- You have proven data modelling skills.
- You have proficiency in English, spoken and written. An additional language is beneficial.

-We are founded in 1992.
-We introduced our iconic green reusable plastic crates (RPCs) in the 90's, which became a staple in the transportation and storage of fresh produce across Europe.
-In the mid-2000s, we implemented RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) technology to track and trace our RPCs more efficiently.
-In 2021 we started using the first recycled folding trays.
-We’ve got over 70 service centres all over Europe – you can find us in most countries. So, wherever you are in Europe, our efficient network has got you covered.
-Through new technologies and knowledge, we were able to lower our washing temperature in 2022 which resulted in significant reduction of between 47% and 52% in our gas consumption.
-In 2017 we agreed that we want to reduce our carbon footprint by 20% by 2025 by implementing several improvement projects.
