As a Design Engineer, you'll be working closely with our Head of Design at the intersection of design and engineering to build intuitive and beautiful user interfaces. Your work will convert directly into best-in-class user experiences for our customers.

- a proven track record of building intuitive and visually stunning user interfaces.
- strong frontend engineering experience using Vue.js, Tailwind, HTML/CSS.
- the ability to maintain a large library of UI components in code
- experience working with design tools such as Figma and familiarity with design systems and UI component libraries.
- a keen interest in implementing animations, micro-interactions, and smooth transitions to enhance the user experience.
- experience collaborating with designers to translate Figma designs into production code.
- attention to detail, with a focus on delivering polished, high-quality work.
As Planhat’s first Design Engineer, you will take increasing ownership of our frontend experience. Success in this role means that working in Planhat is an absolute delight for our users. This includes:
- Collaborating with designers to translate designs into interfaces that feel delightful to use.
- Improving and maintaining our productionized library of UI components.
- Actively seeking out and implementing improvements across the entire product.
- Being the champion for high-quality and delightful UI components.
