We at Food Folk Norway AS, which manages the McDonald's brand in Norway, are looking for a Brand Manager with a burning commitment to branding and a keen eye for flawless execution to join our marketing department 

The position is temporary from 1. December 2024 to 1. December 2025, however, for the right candidate we can be flexible on the start time.

      Main areas of responsibility 

      Campaign and content lead 

      • Deployment of marketing campaigns, including local execution of regional campaigns.  
      • Budget responsibility. 
      • Briefing and planning of local campaigns from marketing plan. 
      • Lead creative agency through the production of final asset delivery for media placement.  
      • Execute regional merchandising framework to local market.  

        Collaborate with key stakeholders 

        • Carry out campaigns in collaboration with local Communications & Marketing. 
        • Work closely with Consumer & Business Insights to follow up, optimisie and evaluate campaigns. 
        • Function as sparring partner towards regional Brand & Marketing Strategy and Menu & Innovation teams on campaigns. 
        • Align campaign concepts & messaging across channels.

            Kompetanse

            What we are looking for: 

            • Relevant higher education at Bachelor's or Master’s level in marketing and/or economics, with good results. 
            • At least 3-4 years of relevant work experience, full-time or part-time, preferably from the FMCG market. 
            • You must be able to run creative processes independently.  
            • You must be confident in a position that requires stakeholder management, agency relations and budget responsibility.  
            • Fluent in Norwegian and English, oral and written. 

              Personal qualities: 

              • Business oriented: Understand the overall objectives and have a strong commercial and financial acumen.  
              • Personal traits: we’re looking for a strong relationship builder who can function as a trusted advisor to the marketing team and our franchisees, with a collaborative mindset to reach the best possible solutions. 
              • Communication: Show confidence, open and honest communication and adapt communication style to a given audience.  
              • Drive and capacity: Driven to achieve quality results and takes personal responsibility to achieve stretch results.  
              • Solid experience with PowerPoint and Excel. 

              Critical success factors:

              • Leverage insights and market perspective to secure customer centric marketing strategies and content. 
              • Flawless execution of campaigns. 
              • Analytic and result driven marketeer with proven experience in multi-channel marketing campaigns.

              In addition to working closely with McDonald's globally, we have approx. 200 Nordic colleagues in the Food Folk organization. Around half work locally in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, or Finland, while the rest work at a regional level.
