Power BI & Tableau Reporting Specialist

We are seeking a talented and driven Power BI and Tableau Report Developer at the intermediate level to join our data analytics team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive and insightful Power BI reports and dashboards to support business decision-making in addition to supporting legacy reporting in Tableau.
YOUR ROLE
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into effective Power BI visualizations.
- Design, develop, and implement visually appealing and interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that provide valuable insights.
- Optimize and enhance existing Power BI reports to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and user-friendliness.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources to create unified datasets for reporting.
- Work closely with the data engineering team to ensure data integrity and resolve data-related issues.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to validate report accuracy and troubleshoot any potential issues.
- Collaborate with the business analysts and data scientists to understand data models and design effective data visualizations.
- Assist in training end-users and provide ongoing support to ensure proper utilization of Power BI reports.
- Document the report development process, including data sources, data transformations, and report design, for future reference.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Power BI Report Developer with hands-on experience in creating complex reports and dashboards.
- Experience maintaining and supporting Tableau dashboards.
- Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
- Proficient in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Power BI certification (e.g., DA-100) is a plus.
- Experience using Snowflake Database
- Knowledge of data analytics and statistical concepts.
- Familiarity with data security and privacy regulations.
- Experience with industry standard headcount and financial terminology
- Experience with VBA coding
