SF Anytime, part of SF Studios, is the leading video on demand service in the Nordic and Baltics and offers a variety of films, ranging from the latest Hollywood blockbusters to independent movies and local Nordic favorites. With a 20-year history, we work with both transactional VOD and EST directly to consumers as well as through operators. We currently offer over 14.000 films and 4.000 series episodes. SF Anytime also acquired the leading Danish streaming service Blockbuster in 2023, and has now integrated the business into SF Anytime.  

Responsibilities

As a senior front-end/react native developer, you’ll work with web, mobile and Smart TV products in close collaboration with other developers, product owner and stakeholders to build incredible web and app products for SF Anytime and Blockbuster. We use the latest web standards in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and modern technologies and frameworks like Typescript, React, GraphQL, Apollo, to develop great web and mobile applications that scale and perform well on all devices.

As a senior front-end/react native developer at SF Anytime, you will:

• Design and build highly available, resilient, and scalable platform primitives & API
• Proactively drive your and the team’s roadmap and ensure its successful execution.
• Analyze data to discover trends and insights
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide the best customer experience.

The position is based in our Stockholm office, and will belong to SF Studios’ IT team who focus on both internal IT and SF Anytime development. The role reports to SF Studios’ Head of IT Operations, Roger Levy.

Skills & Requirements

To be successful in this role, we think you have/are:

• 8+ years of experience as Front-end developer
• Relevant post-secondary education, e.g. from university or higher vocational education (yrkeshögskola)
• Experience building large scale, distributed systems, and scaling web services, within e-commerce and streaming.
• Strong experience with React Native
• Strong experience with Typescript and React
• Solid experience in native iOS/Android app development and their ecosystems
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Github Actions
• Extra if you have experience with Java/Kotlin & Swift and tools like Fastlane
• Fluent in English and Swedish both written and spoken
