We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for a Finance and Administration Manager for supporting our Mobile Cooking Sus-segment.

The business unit ‘Mobile Cooking’ (MCK) has recently been formed within Dometic segment Standalone. It’s a renaming of the, in January 2022, acquired company CADAC and responsible for the development, marketing and sales of mobile cooking appliances and accessories. The Mobile Cooking products are mainly sold in the EMEA region.

This position is with the Mobile Cooking team in Duiven, The Netherlands (near the German border). You’ll find a close team of almost 30 members in an open and informal working setting. The MCK teams in UK, South-Africa and China complete the whole team Mobile Cooking team consists of 50 people.

Purpose

The Finance & Administration Manager has a business-oriented, central role in the organization of MCK and will act as financial wingman of the head of MCK. The Finance & Administration Manager is responsible for financial responsibilities such as accounting forecasting, controlling and management reporting. It’s a combination of coordinating, controlling and executive tasks . This role will help to set the strategic agenda and take a broad role in several optimizing projects. Dometic Group’s financial reporting is according to International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”) a listed company on NASDAQ Stockholm.

Your main responsibilities

The function is responsible for business planning and forecasting processes which will include the execution of management reports. The Finance & Administration Manager works closely with Dometic Group Finance to ensure a consistent way of planning, following-up and reporting as well as sharing of best practices. This individual must have the ability to manage and work cross functionally with internal and external business partners.

  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Maintain and deliver financial models, budgets, and forecasts.
    • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic business decisions.
    • Monitor key financial indicators and performance metrics.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
    • Present financial reports to Head of MCK and stakeholders.
  • Budget Management:
    • Collaborate with Head of MCK to develop and manage budgets.
    • Monitor spending and variances against budgeted amounts.
    • Provide recommendations for cost optimization and resource allocation.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify and assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
  • Strategic Financial Planning:
    • Participate in strategic planning and provide financial insights to support business growth and expansion.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Oversee, coordinate and execute financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
    • Controlling, maintaining and implementing of business processes
    • Work closely together with Dometic shared services (which is executing accounting work for MCK)
  • Relationship Management:
    • Collaborate with external partners, including auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.

Skills & Requirements

A suitable background would be the following in terms of qualifications and experiences:

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in Finance, controlling, Accounting, IFRS and Operations
  • Previous leadership role and process experience
  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field or similar work experience
  • Experience in working with an international business, preferably retail
  • Good knowledge of Dutch and English language (both written and spoken).
  • Excellent Microsoft knowledge (mainly Excel).
  • SAP (ERP) experience (control, maintain and implement)

To be successful in this role, we believe that you possess the following skills, competencies & characteristics:

  • Understanding the mechanism between functions in a consumer goods company with a business line approach from end to end (Sales, HR, Finance, Legal and Tax perspective).
  • Experience in working in an international environment with high requirements on quality and accuracy. Experience working in a listed company is a plus.
  • A genuine interest in and understanding of the connection between the business and the numbers.
  • Communicative and proactive with a confident behavior and strong social skills.
  • Analytical mind-set and a high degree of flexibility and team spirit.
  • Structured, self-driven and results-oriented way of working.
