Data Analyst / Power BI Developer

We are looking for a Power BI Developer to join the Data Office team, part of the Information Technology organization within PwC Internal Firm Services. This role is not client-facing; instead, you will collaborate with our internal 'clients' within PwC. Our team works together with various stakeholders across the organization and combines expertise in data management, creating insights from our internal data and supporting our staff in the use of our data platforms.   

What is the work about? 

Your focus will be on creating and maintaining Power BI data models and reports, as well as supporting our data integration and data quality processes. Within the firm, you and your teammates are known as Data and Business Analysts, and your role and responsibilities will cover: 

• Power BI development: Development and maintenance of Power BI data models and reports. 
• Data quality: Ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across data sources and reports. 
• Project involvement: Participating in internal development projects contributing to reporting solutions. 
• Data integration: Supporting data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes 
• User & stakeholder liaison: Collaborating with users and stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs and providing guidance and training on Power BI usage.

What do you expect from me? 

• A bachelor's or master's degree in business, Economics, STEM, or a related field that demonstrates analytical and technical skills. 
• Proven hands-on experience with Power BI: You already have some hands-on experience in data modeling, DAX, and visualization techniques in a business setting. 
• Precision and commitment to quality, and documentation skills: You are meticulous in your work and follow the best practices and standards for data and reporting development. You ensure the reliability and validity of your solutions and document your processes and results clearly and consistently. 
• Experience in or interest towards data integration, data engineering, SQL databases, and data warehousing 
• Interest in working at the intersection of technology and business solutions development and ability to transform business requirements into technical solutions. 
• Effective communication skills in English. Finnish language is a bonus.
