Are you also an experienced Project Leader with a background in Quality engineering who can navigate the landscape between R&D, Quality and Production to ensure that our Quality goals are achieved according to plan? The role

In this role, you will be the main Quality representative in our development programs and, as such, manage- and track all quality deviations that are identified in each program. This means that you will direct subsequent tasks to relevant stakeholders as well as follow-up on the overall progression. This also entails creating a Quality Assurance plan for the various programs and identifying the validations- and quality gates needed to ensure that each quality standard is met within the different phases of the program.

You will be located at our main production facility in Ängelholm, Sweden and report directly to the VP of the Quality Department.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage- and track all quality deviations that are identified in each program as well as directing subsequent tasks to relevant stakeholders and follow-up on the progression to ensure quality targets are met according to plan.
  • Creating- and maintaining quality assurance plan
  • Manage escalated quality issues from Production Quality & Supplier Quality through Q-council
  • Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality Management system (ISO9001) and ensure that control plans and associated documentation are implemented and maintained effectively

As a member of the Quality department, you will also participate in various cross-functional quality process implementations and improvements as delegated by the VP of the department.

About you

In order to be successful in this role, we believe that you are a good communicator who can navigate through all layers of the organization effectively and stay committed to reaching your goals. You have great attention to detail and possess strong problem-solving skills as well as business acumen.

Skills and Requirements

  • Educational degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineer or relevant field.
  • Previous working experience within Quality Engineering or similar as well as hands-on experience within Project Management, APQP
  • Additional certifications in Quality Assurance such as Six Sigma as well as experience from working in the Automotive Industry will be considered meritorious.
