About the job
As a B2C Business Controller, you will be an integral part of the B2C Business Controlling team, reporting to the Head of B2C Business Control. You will act as a financial business partner to a dedicated unit within the consumer segment and work closely with the leadership team for Customer Operations, providing strategic financial insights and driving performance.
You will join Tele2’s Sweden Business Controlling team, which consists of 25 business controllers who support the entire Tele2 Sweden business. The team is responsible for driving and improving the plan-to-perform process, from forecasting to monthly follow-up, ensuring that we meet our financial goals and deliver value across the organization.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving and improving the Plan to Perform process for the dedicated unit.
- Challenging and risk-assessing submitted budgets, forecasts, LRP, and other financial impacts from support function units.
- Participating in month-end closings to analyze results versus budget and/or forecast.
- Maintaining and developing relevant operational review materials.
- Supporting and challenging the organization in business cases and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensuring an active and proactive way of working.
- Keeping long-term strategies/goals and short-term activity plans in focus.
- Identifying and driving changes in key processes (process optimization) alongside the organization.
- Building structural capital and know-how in terms of forecasting and reporting.
- Collaborating with the Sweden Business Control team to identify and drive cross-border efficiency.
- Driving, developing, and improving accuracy in budgets and forecasts with the B2C Head of Business Control.
Who are you?
To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe that you have:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in business controlling.
- Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
- High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to present data to the organization in an understandable and concise manner.
- A data-driven mindset with experience in structuring and handling large amounts of data.
- A structured way of working and excellent collaboration skills.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in telecommunications or a related industry.
- Knowledge of financial modeling and data visualization tools.
