If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to make a significant impact as a QHSE Engineer within our cutting-edge R&D facilities. 

As the QHSE Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and optimizing our R&D quality systems to ensure that our processes consistently exceed the highest quality standard. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and compliant workplace, reducing environmental impact, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across all our R&D locations in Southern Norway and Oslo. 

This role is key in supporting and enhancing our current phase of growth where you will be joining a team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with Production Quality team to implement and maintain aligned quality control processes that ensure all products consistently meet industry standards. 
  • Overseeing the implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) for R&D, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives. 
  • Coordinating and leading efforts to achieve and maintain ISO certification, including comprehensive preparation, documentation, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and safety audits to ensure a hazard-free workplace. 
  • Design and implement safety protocols and training programs to protect our employees. 
  • Investigate incidents thoroughly, leading root cause analysis and corrective actions. 
  •  Prepare and submit detailed reports to management and regulatory bodies. 
  • Ensure all QHSE documentation is complete, accurate, and readily accessible. 
  • Foster a culture of quality and safety across all teams.

    Skills & Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
    • 3-5 years of experience in a QHSE role within a manufacturing environment, ideally in process/chemical manufacturing or a related industry. 
    • Experience with ISO certifications (9001, 14001, 45001) is essential. 
    • Six Sigma or Lean/Kaizen certification is highly desirable.
    • Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, including statistical process control and root cause analysis. 
    • In-depth knowledge of Norwegian health and safety regulations in manufacturing. 
    • Familiarity with environmental laws and regulations applicable to industrial settings. 
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
    • Fluency in Norwegian language written and oral is a must.
