Main goal

The Ceremonies (CERE) project delivers captivating experiences and stunning visuals for stadium audiences and millions of TV viewers globally. As a Ceremonies Specialist, you’ll help plan and execute the opening and medal ceremonies for top UEFA finals, including the Europa League, Women’s Champions League, and Nations League, working closely with in-house teams to ensure that everything runs seamlessly.

Key responsibilities

OPERATIONS

  • Event planning and execution: Drive the creative concept and oversee the full production of ceremonies
  • Project management: Manage timelines, budgets and resources while coordinating multiple projects
  • Logistics: Oversee facilities, IT, accreditation and volunteer needs
  • Stakeholder engagement: Lead agencies and suppliers, and prepare key documents for stakeholders
  • Budget management: Handle budgeting, procurement and financial tracking from start to finish
  • Team leadership: Guide and mentor the project team throughout the event

    • Foster strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders
    • Build solid supplier partnerships using clear communication
    • Ensure that in-house teams have the project information they need

    Skills & Requirements

    Requirements

    Experience

    • Minimum of five years working in event planning and project management
    • Experience of ceremonies and live broadcasts, especially in football
    • Proven experience working with agencies

    Other mandatory requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant area
    • Excellent English, both written and oral
    • Strong communication, including the ability to influence and create impact
    • Effective leader who inspires and motivates
    • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
    • Excellent team player
