Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our expanding team at Evam. This role is crucial as we focus on strengthening our presence in the UK market while also driving our global sales efforts. To excel in this position, it is essential that the candidate has an in-depth understanding of British culture, business practices, and language. We are specifically looking for someone who was born and raised in the UK or has significant experience living and working there.

Fluency in British English is a must, as you will be communicating extensively with UK-based clients and stakeholders. Additionally, the ideal candidate currently resides in Sweden, allowing them to bring a unique, dual-market perspective to our sales strategy and business development efforts.

As an SDR at Evam, you will be responsible not only for identifying potential customers and generating leads in the UK but also for contributing to our broader global sales initiatives. You will support the sales team in converting these leads into valuable opportunities, working closely with our global management team, based in Sweden, to execute our international market penetration strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Qualification: Identify, research, and target potential customers in the public safety and emergency services sectors within UK and other English speaking markets
  • Sales Outreach: Initiate contact with prospective customers through various channels, including email, phone calls, and social media, with the goal of scheduling qualified meetings for the sales team
  • Collaborative Sales Efforts: Work closely with the sales team to support the development and execution of sales strategies, including assisting with proposals, presentations, and follow-ups.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions within our CRM system, ensuring a seamless flow of information across the team.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, serving as an ambassador of Evam’s mission and values in the global market.

  • Must have strong familiarity with British culture, business practices, and language, with fluency in British English, ideally having lived and worked in the UK or having extensive experience engaging with the UK market.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with technology and capable of quickly learning new software and tools relevant to the role.
  • Proactive & Results-Driven: A self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently to achieve targets.
