The role
We are looking for a skilled Business Process Expert, responsible for ensuring operational efficiency and excellence through great management of financial processes. Your role will encompass several critical responsibilities with a strong focus on financial operations.
To begin, you will collaborate closely with business area representatives to define precise financial business requirements and maintain strong working relationships. Facilitating meetings to discuss ERP developments relevant to financial processes, managing portfolios, evaluating Functional Design documentation, and tracking development timelines. You'll play a key role in functional testing, documenting results, and facilitating communication between users and consultants. Furthermore, you'll also oversee training, ensuring smooth integration of financial updates and compliance, while creating detailed workflow documentation for transactions.
Next, you'll prioritize enhancements such as localizations required by governmental regulations (e.g., GDPR compliance updates) and VAT reporting. These processes will be digitally integrated through interfaces, ensuring seamless transfer of information from SAP to external tools (e.g., tax compliance software) for automatic uploads to respective financial authorities.

Thirdly, you'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity and coherence of financial master data and system configurations within your designated domain. This involves overseeing the setup of financial master data (e.g., chart of accounts) and system configurations, conducting regular quality control checks, and promptly addressing any quality concerns in collaboration with relevant financial stakeholders. Your role will also entail driving continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., process automation in expense reporting) and adhering to international standards for financial master data and system setups.
Lastly, as the go-to person for all financial process and operational information queries, you will provide expert advice on optimizing the use of ERP and reporting systems to enhance financial process efficiency. You'll guide colleagues on correct data sourcing practices (e.g., extracting financial data for audit purposes) and lead initiatives aimed at improving financial processes and information flow. Effective communication of these initiatives across the organization will be essential to driving meaningful change and achieving operational excellence in financial operations.

-We introduced our iconic green reusable plastic crates (RPCs) in the 90's, which became a staple in the transportation and storage of fresh produce across Europe.
