About the position
Dometic is a global market leader in the mobile living industry. Millions of people around the world use Dometic products in outdoor, residential, and professional applications. We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for a Product Manager for the AC & Ventilation – EMEA segment.
Main responsibilities: The Product Managers in EMEA are responsible for ensuring a sellable product assortment within EMEA that complies with Dometic Group Guidelines for the finished goods (FG) and accessories (AC). They define the product strategy together with major key stakeholders, such as PD, Sales, Marketing, etc. to ensure a profitable growth in their respective ownership of a certain product portfolio.
Major Tasks & Deliverables: Business Case, Book of Requirements, Generation Plan, Product Launch Plan, Investment Request, Product Idea Template, Product Strategies. Major Systems & Tools used: InRiver, Antura, Investment Request Database, QlikView (RPM), O365 Tools
- Product-Lifecycle-Management (PLM) (define and execute product lifecycle mgt as a framework of relevant KPIs. Define the leading key product innovation driver, product life cycle planning via product roadmap and product generation plan including active phase-out management (product pruning).
- Product trainings (train internal sales teams, support for special customer events)
Additional Responsibilities in Cooperation with Marketing & Sales:
Market Intelligence (liaise with sales and customers, analyse competitors, research for new trends, visit trade-fairs, networking with associations)
Product Launch, Marketing, Distribution (grow business with new product launches, supervising product profitability, secure price positioning together with Division Heads, secure distribution strategy together with Division Heads, support Marketing for further projects & activities)
Major KPIs: Innovation Index, Dometic Profitable Expansion & Financial thresholds, Reaching Business Case Forecast, Up-to-date product assortment

Skills & Requirements
A suitable background would be the following in terms of qualifications and experiences:
- Solid academic education in Business, Marketing, Engineering
- Previous Experience in the fields of Product Management, Sales, Business Development, Project Management.
- Track record in AC & Ventilation systems, in particular AC & Ventilation systems in the leisure industry.
- Business fluent in German & English
- Experience in working with Microsoft O365 tools, PIM & ERP systems, Project Management Tools (e.g. Antura, Wrike)
- Experience in working in an international set-up
