The Sales Manager - Finance brands will be responsible for identifying and securing new clients within the finance sector, as well as managing ongoing relationships with existing clients. This role requires a good understanding of the finance industry, strong sales acumen, and the ability to provide excellent customer service after the sale. The Sales Manager will work closely with the finance team to ensure that clients receive high-quality service and solutions that meet their needs.

Daily tasks & job duties

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the finance sector, including banks, investment firms, financial advisors, and other financial institutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and develop strategies to reach them effectively.
  • Negotiate contracts, close sales, and manage the onboarding process for new clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients post-sale, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction, handling inquiries, and providing solutions to any issues.
  • Monitor and manage the progress of client accounts through our CRM ensuring that client expectations are met and that projects or services are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to clients, keeping them informed of new offerings, features, or updates relevant to their needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends in the finance industry to identify new opportunities for growth and service enhancements.
  • Work with individual and team goals with support of the OKR framework.

Skills & Requirements

Professional Skills:

  • Proficient in English and German.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in German.
  • Experience in sales or customer advice, with a keen interest in digital marketing.
  • Previous experience in working with finance clients is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
