The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Marketing Communicator who thrives in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for marketing and a strong aptitude for writing. You should be detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn, with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills. Your role will involve supporting various marketing activities, creating compelling written content, and collaborating with different teams to help drive our marketing objectives forward.

As a Marketing Communicator, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support marketing and advertising campaigns for lead generation and customer communication
  • Support in maintaining Sectra’s marketing and brand strategy
  • Manage and maintain Sectra’s CRM system and other relevant systems
  • Support in the coordination of meetings and trade shows, including logistics (ordering, shipping, etc.)
  • Assist with the organization and logistics of our User meetings
  • Create event pages and manage the US pages on the Sectra website
  • Draft and manage email communications to customers and leads
  • Create LinkedIn and social media posts that engage our audience
  • Contribute to marketing and creative brainstorm initiatives
  • Identify and propose internal/external ideas and initiatives to help promote general awareness of company brand
  • Collaborate with the sales team as needed
  • Provide administrative and project support for a variety of marketing activities

Skills & Requirements

As a Marketing Communicator, the following requirements apply:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • 0-3 years of experience in marketing, with internship experience considered
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of all social networking platforms
  • A passion for writing and creating engaging content
  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (design, photo editing, and multimedia creation) 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and a desire to learn and grow
  • Ability to work out of our Shelton, CT office
  • Ability to travel as required (up to 25%)

The salary range for this position is between $55,000 and $70,000 based on experience and qualifications.
