As the Data Governance Business Partner, you'll be at the heart of our data-driven governance operations. Responsible for working closely with the Data Governance framework you will forge connections across departments and becoming the link between the business functions and the data governance team, with the aim to establish and nurture effective data governance practices within your assigned data domains. By upholding data quality, integrity, and compliance, you'll help shape our strategic decisions and drive operational excellence.

Your Role as a Data Governance Business Partner

• Shaping Strategic Decisions: Your mission is to help shape our strategic decisions and drive operational excellence by crafting, documenting, and implementing data governance policies, standards, and procedures that align with business requirements and regulatory guidelines for your domains.
• Trusted Advisor: Become a trusted advisor and ally for stakeholders within your assigned data domains. Forge connections across departments, working closely with Data Domain Managers, Data Owners, Data Stewards, and Data Custodians to identify and support their data-related governance needs and challenges.
• Data Quality Champion: Illuminate data quality issues, identify management gaps, and potential risks within your domains. Collaborate with relevant teams to address them, improving the confidence in data quality.
• Supporting Data Governance Program: Contribute to Ikano's Data Governance program by working closely with an allocated group of Domains in analysing, data profiling, and reporting accurate metrics and KPIs, charting the course of progress, and supporting regular reports to showcase the impact of the data governance initiatives.
• Promoting Data Literacy: Foster data literacy by hosting engaging training sessions and workshops that deepen understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
