Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST) is seeking candidates with a passion for teaching and a strong background in professional communications for a one-year assignment teaching and mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs in the tech space in Ghana the art of professional communications.

On a daily basis, Teaching Fellows support MEST trainees in developing their entrepreneurial and global business skills. They contribute to a creating a culture of excellence in a supportive environment that furthers the success of students and drives the reputation of MEST as a world-class entrepreneurship training program.

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, business, or a related field
  • Demonstrated expert knowledge and professional experience in communication.
  • Significant experience in public speaking, teaching, and mentorship.
  • Significant experience with entrepreneurship or intrapreneurship.
  • Experience working in multi-cultural and geographically diverse teams and familiarity with the challenges/opportunities in African countries.
  • Experience in delivering professional standard presentations
  • Ability to apply logic and critical thinking to problem-solving
  • Plus: Entrepreneurship experience in Africa or emerging markets


  • To design, develop and execute lesson plans for the subject area.
  • To mentor individuals and project teams.
  • To lead projects within the curriculum.
  • To meet required standards for teaching and mentoring as defined within overall curriculum implementation plan and KPIs.
