Supply Chain Development Manager

We are recruiting for a Supply Chain Development Manager in our supply chain team. Based in Bedford this role will provide strategic support for our supply chain projects enable us to develop our processes and execute projects effectively working cross functionally with other businesses areas, you'll be a great communicator with excellent attention to detail.

You will have:

  • ERP Knowledge – (AX Microsoft Dynamics, BI)
  • A solid understanding of planning processes within an ERP system
  • Good understanding of End2End S&OP process
  • Experience of Process mapping and design of new ways of working
  • Strong understanding of physical transactions in ERP system and associated postings
  • Good understanding of Warehouses and Logistics processes

You’ll be great at:

  • Understanding the key drivers of supply chain cost and understands the way trade-off decisions work
  • Managing and driving the MRP project to completion with training and implementation follow up and support
  • Driving the Supply Chain continuous improvement projects
  • Monitoring warehousing and distribution operations of 3PL service providers
  • Understanding Supply chain 3PL invoice rates verification and approval
  • Supporting the UK S&OP monthly process
  • Supporting the Customer Service level & FG waste control improvement through monthly reviews.

You have:

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, and a process-oriented mindset.
  • Change management to ensure embedded delivery of CSI projects.
  • Commercial awareness with focus on value chain trade-offs to identify optimal solutions.
  • Complex project management experience
  • A focus on team work
  • Excellent communication skills to manage stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
