Snowhotel Kirkenes is a growing tourism company offering accommodation and exciting activities year-round, including dog sledding, king crab fishing, snowmobile tours, northern lights experiences, and more!
We are currently seeking motivated team members for the winter season to provide our guests with fantastic dining experiences in our restaurant. Positions are available both full-time and part-time, covering breakfast, dinner, king crab service, and dishwashing. Additionally, we are looking for both a skilled cook and a dedicated breakfast cook to join our team.
You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of service and guest satisfaction. At our restaurant, we don't just serve food, we serve stories. Your role will involve food and beverage service, ensuring our guests feel well-cared for and have a great time.
Beyond being a fantastic restaurant, we host everything from weddings and parties to conferences, Christmas parties, and other exciting events.

Who are you?
To us, it’s not about whether you can carry two or three plates on one arm, but your ability to create a pleasant atmosphere through good communication and storytelling. You’re comfortable speaking in front of groups. You might find serving in our ice bar a bit cold, but cool. We are looking for someone who naturally engages guests, is friendly and outgoing, observant, and eager to learn. Flexibility is important as the position requires evening and weekend work. Teamwork is key, so you should enjoy keeping things organized and be willing to pitch in wherever needed.
In summary, we’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience in the restaurant industry
- Minimum 20 years old
- Is service-oriented and brings positive energy to colleagues and guests
- Is flexible, solution-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Values service and human relationships – we want you to care about our guests!
- Is fluent in English, both spoken and written. Additional languages are a plus.

Snowhotel Kirkenes is a unique place in the Arctic that was established in 2006.
We offer accommodation and exciting activities such as dog sledding, king crab fishing, snowmobile tours, northern lights experiences and insights into Sami culture.
