About the company

Camp Tamok is a wilderness centre located just outside the centre of Tromsø, in the beautiful Tamok valley. Even though it’s location is only a 75 minute drive from the city, it’s in a different and drier climate zone, with inland mountain weather. The dry climate generates many clear nights, meaning the conditions are optimal for Northern Lights observations. During the winter, Camp Tamok is the starting and ending point for lots of authentic Northern Norwegian activities, like Northern Lights trips and other tours by dog sled, snowmobile and reindeer sled.

About Norwegian Travel:
Norwegian Travel is a premium tour operator aiming to deliver high-quality, experience-based tourism at select destinations in Norway. Norwegian Travel owns the core business, and in collaboration with our complementary partners, we offer a wide range of activities and products.

Our goal is to provide exciting and genuine experiences at all our destinations in Norway. Our experiences range from dog sledding, snowmobiling, and northern lights tours in Tromsø and Kirkenes, to our gondola in Romsdalen or northern lights train in Narvik.

This is not just a unique opportunity to become part of an exciting industry, but also a chance to join a dedicated team passionate about showcasing the best Norway has to offer.

The backbone of our organization is our values, our DNA. It is the head, spine, and heart of each of us, and our guiding principle in everything we do:

  • Create value
  • Be authentic
  • Care

And for us, it is important that you wholeheartedly support and live by these values.

Norwegian Travel strongly believes in the combination of hard work, commitment, and above all, a safe, good, and productive workplace. With various locations in Norway and our headquarters in Tromsø, we look forward to many years of growth and value creation.
