    We're looking for someone with a strong interest in Data Protection, mainly including privacy (GDPR) but also information security, eager to grow in other surrounding compliance areas. Your personality is key in this role! You should be curious, unafraid to learn new things, and take responsibility for your knowledge in this ever-evolving field. We highly value if you are driven, ambitious, and have an eye for details.

At Scandic, we care deeply about our team members, ensuring you feel great and have the opportunity to grow and enjoy a fun and challenging career. To thrive in this role, you should have a strong interest and curiosity in the privacy and information security field, with Data Protection (at least initially) as your main focus. This role reports directly to our Head of Information Security and will be a member of the Data Protection Office. 

    Your Role & Impact: 

    • Coordinate recurring tasks for our Data Protection Office on a tactical and operational level 
    • Coach Data Protection Ambassadors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration 
    • Handle Data Subject Requests and manage the GDPR mailbox 
    • Manage the Information Security Management System (ISMS) document library 
    • Oversee the Data Protection intranet community and Teams channel, providing support and knowledge 
    • Execute the yearly plan with activities such as internal audits, policy reviews, and training sessions 
    • Ensure compliance and increase the maturity level in the Data Protection area

    Skills & Requirements

    Who you are:

    • A structured and social person who loves taking on new challenges 
    • Driven and open to exploring new focus areas, ready to take responsibility for your own development 
    • Communicative, both in writing and speaking 
    • Full working proficiency  in Swedish and English 
    • Experience in Data Protection and/or Information Security is a huge plus, but not a requirement. However, you need to be 100% motivated to learn and grow in this field to fulfill the requirements 
    • A relevant academic degree will be advantageous

      This is a full-time employment at our Group Office/HQ, situated in newly renovated spaces right by Hagaparken on Sveavägen in Stockholm. We love to be in the office but are a flexible workplace and offer a hybrid setup that suits our team members, typically around 3 days/week at our office.
