Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer

A bit about the role:

Your work will focus on maintaining Data Cloud usage with first-party data, influencing contact strategies, and embracing a customer-centric approach. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
 
Development and Data Architecture:  

  • Act as an expert in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Development and Data Architecture.  
  • Develop and support Salesforce Data Cloud & Marketing Cloud environments, focusing on audience segmentation, data models, and data extensions.
  • Create contact models, advanced target segments, and insights within Salesforce Data Cloud.  
  • Build and document applications for data movement between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and platforms like Azure, SQL Server, and Databricks.  

Collaboration and Integration:  

  • Collaborate with Data Platform, Sales and Service Cloud teams, and other data sources to enhance marketing capabilities.  
  • Work with Power BI and Reporting Teams to generate actionable insights for commercial and marketing teams.  
  • Develop cross-cloud solutions and integrations and actively resolve tickets from the Marketing Cloud backlog.  

Skills & Requirements

About you:

Knowledge & Skills:

  • At least three years of experience in Marketing Cloud development.
  • Proficiency in Data Cloud development, Marketing Cloud API, AMP script, JavaScript, SQL.
  • Knowledge in solution design, architecture, relational databases, advanced SQL, and ETL best practices.
  • Skilled in data management, segmentation, and using tools like Confluence and Jira.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
  • Relevant certifications (Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Developer).
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
