About the position

Dometic is a global market leader in the mobile living industry. Millions of people around the world use Dometic products in outdoor, residential, and professional applications. We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for a Sales Director for the Exterior sub-segment.

Your main responsibilities

  • You will be leading a sales team of OEM and develop strategies for the customer base and product portfolio.
  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing a sales growth plan and identifying opportunities and risks.
  • Building, maintaining and nurturing solid business relationships, including negotiations, are central tasks.
  • You will create and coordinate the annual budget planning process and analyse sales and profitability.
  • You act as an escalation point and coordinator in the event of complaints.
  • You will play a key role in implementing the acquisition, development and customer strategy.
  • You will analyse the competition and the market.
  • You review sales performance and take appropriate measures to improve it

Skills & Requirements

A suitable background would be the following in terms of qualifications and experiences:

  • Completed studies in the field of business administration/industrial engineering and/or relevant professional experience (B2B)
  • Minimum. 5 years of sales experience of products requiring explanation in B2B
  • Willingness to regularly travel internationally and visit customers (~50%)
  • Good computer skills (MS Office)
  • Fluent German and very good English skills (written and spoken)
