About the position

Dometic is a global market leader in the mobile living industry. Millions of people around the world use Dometic products in outdoor, residential, and professional applications. We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for an ERP Support Expert into our Emsdetten location in Germany.

Main targets of the function

Daily operational support in ERP systems incident management, event management, service request handling and participating in ERP change or projects work. The main goals and success factors in this role are keeping high SLA and end-user satisfaction, maintain the right level of availabilty of ERP systems, early reaction and resolution of IT/ERP incidents and ensuring high service quality.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • ERP systems incident management as L2 support is the highest priority daily operational job
  • Incident detection in early status and resolving them quickly and efficiently
  • End user query handling including the understanding of user request, capture data, further processing to accomplishment
  • Communication with end users to keep them informed about the status of their incidents or other queries
  • Being involved in system monitoring and event management to capture system error as early as possible
  • Support ERP related projects and change request both with ERP technical or functional knowledge
  • Primary contact for ERP vendors both in daily operational task and in planning
  • Administrative processing
  • Working with Dometic ticketing systems for administration of ERP support activities
  • Participation on ERP training programs and user workshops
  • Knowledge management to prepare ERP documentations and share know-how with other team members
  • Reporting to management level about daily/weekly progress and SLA level
  • Actively participate in daily standup callMaintain and develop expertise in their own field
  • Jointly responsible for optimizing the department.
  • Proactive in making proposals to improve work processes, also in relation to other departments

Skills & Requirements

A suitable background would be the following in terms of technical education and experience:

  • Microsoft Office knowledge
  • ERP-Systems and knowledge about ERP modules and transactions
  • Dynamics365 F&O or other ERP systems knowledge, Trend, AX2009, etc.
  • ITIL certification or relevant knowledge and practice in IT service management
  • IBM AS400 knowledge
  • EDI knowledge

  • Languages: English, German on a fluent level
