Field Sales Representative (North/East Germany)

WAECO has been a recognized market leader in this area for over 50 years and works closely with workshop customers and the automotive industry.

To support our team, we are looking for a Field Sales Representative in the North/East region as soon as possible.

The Field Sales Representative is expected to further develop WAECO's profitable growth and drive sales with repeat business to existing and new customers in Germany (mainly in the region assigned to him/her).

We require you to work independently and proactively. You should also identify and work on new sales areas for profitable business opportunities.

Your main responsibilities

• Establish, develop and maintain relationships with our existing and potential new customers in its sales area, who may be wholesalers, dealers or other automotive customers.

• Develop sales activities and revenue in its territory in accordance with overall strategy/pricing.

• Maintaining deep product knowledge through targeted sales training

• Creation and processing of offers

• Generate reports on sales, offers, backorders, customer statistics and market analysis

• Preparation of price negotiations

• Sales data analysis, forecast planning

• Close coordination with other internal functions such as PM, Purchasing, Quality, OTC, Finance, etc.

• Negotiate acceptable warranty costs with customers

• Preparation and execution of company and product presentations for customers

• Participation in relevant trade fairs

Skills & Requirements

A suitable background would be the following in terms of qualifications and experiences:

•Completed technical (preferably automotive) or business training.

• Professional experience in B2B sales of products requiring technical explanation in the automotive sector (preferably workshop equipment)

• Strong negotiation skills and an analytical and quick comprehension

• Product and market knowledge in the workshop equipment business (preferably air conditioning service) is desirable

• Competent, confident demeanor and very good communication skills, both verbal and written

• Knowledge of spoken and written English is an advantage

• German native speaker
