Senior Data Engineer
In this role, you will be responsible for processing data, developing and maintaining big data pipelines, and enhancing data quality and efficiency. As a Senior Data Engineer , you are a key contributor in our Product Development team focused on Data and Analytics. This position involves combining data from various sources, designing and developing data extraction and transformation pipelines, conducting data analysis, and reporting results. You will also design and develop deployment automation to ensure seamless integration and operational efficiency.
This role is crucial for our team as it supports the continual growth and technological advancement of our data capabilities. You will work as part of a dynamic team but also have the autonomy to manage individual projects and work. Your efforts will directly impact the quality of data-driven decision-making across the company.

Skills & Requirements
SKILLS AND CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
In order to thrive and succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with ETL tools, BI tools, and a strong understanding of big data architecture, particularly within the Azure cloud environment.
- Proven expertise in Python and SQL, and experience with technologies like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, and ADLS.
- Strong background in data modeling, and data processes, along with the ability to write high-quality, reusable, and well-documented code.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs, with a proactive approach to planning and estimating task delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to proactively communicate progress and potential issues.
- Ability to work well in a team, maintaining good morale and partnering with others to achieve objectives.
- Demonstrated commitment to improving personal performance and the quality of code and development tools within the product area.
