To excel on efficiency and speed to market – with Supply Chain as an important competitive player - we are currently strengthening our Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) towards Integrated Business Planning (IBP). Therefor we are looking for a pro-active Demand Planner with a strong analytic mindset. You are data driven, understand the power of great teamwork and are motivated by lifting the entire demand & supply planning processes to the “next level” by processes and better system utilization. Taking the planning responsibility for your own area in close partnership with Sales & Finance you will make a direct impact on our business and strengthen Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP), forecasting processes & IBP implementation.
This is what you will do
As Demand Planner you ensure one view of sales volumes which reflects the market, Sales Manager inputs and customer dialogues. In the on-going & monthly sign-off & review process you capture the changes in the sales volumes to understand the impact to supply and the financial plan. You will also balance short-term perspective with long-term, to ensure forecast accuracy and customer service level.
With an analytical & business mindset, you facilitate dialogues cross-functionally to ensure proactive decisions and escalations. When needed - You support the development of our total supply chain with continuous focus on optimization and anchoring demand planning in the Danish organization.
You own the country/channel demand review meetings within the SIOP monthly cycle, where you build trust and commitment with key stakeholders internally and externally. In addition, facilitate common view and decision materials for the Country S&OP meetings.
Further responsibilities:
- Monitor & develop the Demand forecast to improve forecast accuracy and reporting important changes and gabs vs Sales.
- Facilitating weekly follow up meetings w/ Sales and Logistic to monitor and take actions on customer service performance.
- Introduction of new products & sell-out process and needed actions.
- Contribute to process development within Process and Maintenance Forums for Planning.
- Lead & drive implemented contentious improvement strategy & processes in close cooperation w/Supply chain Manager.
- Facilitating and preparing the monthly IBP cycle on Demand planning together with sales chairs.
- Project Management of minor optimization initiatives.

- A proactive end-to-end overview of demands, customer service level, inventory, and financial impact within the supply chain.
- Continuous improvement mindset with purpose to improve forecast accuracy, service level and reduction of waste.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical focus and ability to leverage information to support needed decisions.
- Self-driven and ready to take the next step when required.
- Change management skills are an advantage.
- Holistic view, with the ability to understand and coordinate cross-functional requirements.
- Great sense of humor in an environment with fantastic colleagues.
You have:
- Degree in business or economics preferable within Finance or Supply Chain or similar extensive demand planning experience, ideally from a FMCG business within the food industry
- Experience of SIOP/IBP processes
- In-depth understanding of the Supply Chain process, commercial and financial concepts
- Advanced Excel and/or BI skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data and calculations
- Familiar with IT tools (Movex, SO99+, Cognos, Microsoft Office)
- Excellent spoken and written Danish & English
