We are looking for a driven Senior Platform SRE(Site Reliability Engineering) to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our passionate Platform team based in Stockholm. As we expand our operations with ambitious plans to build the largest battery factories globally and maintain our digital backbone, your senior experience and leadership will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of our systems at scale.

About the Role
As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust monitoring strategies for our production environments, ensuring system health and uptime. You will also play a key role in innovating and enhancing our software infrastructure to promote scalability, reliability, and rapid deployment, aligning with our ambitious growth plans. Additionally, you will lead efforts in system performance optimizations, anticipating future demands and technological advancements. Your expertise will be crucial in providing operational support and engineering for large-scale distributed systems, maintaining a delicate balance between rapid feature development and reliability.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as a technical and strategic leader, defining the SRE vision and aligning it with our broader business and environmental goals.
  • Build and mentor a team of SREs, fostering a culture of collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive technical decisions, troubleshoot complex issues, and advocate for automation to develop sustainable and scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with product teams, developers, DevOps, and security teams to refine services, optimize workflows, and ensure secure and seamless deployments.
  • Proactively engage in capacity planning, resource management, and system enhancements to support operational excellence.

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have :

  • 2-5 years of proven senior/leadership in SRE or a related field
  • A passion for technical and team development.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS prefer red), Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring/observability systems.
  • A strategic thinker capable of translating business needs into a robust SRE strategy that supports long-term goals.
  • An excellent communicator and mentor, dedicated to developing junior SREs and enhancing cross-functional team collaboration.
  • A problem-solving expert who can handle complex challenges and innovate with proactive solutions.
