As Product Safety & Chemical specialist at Kappahl Production Head office department, your role will be to safeguard Kappahl´s products when it comes to Product safety and Chemicals. With your expertise you will help the organization achieve its sustainability objectives; to develop safe products enabled for circular business models produced with low environmental impact when it comes to chemicals.

A position within Kappahl’s sustainability matrix organization with the responsibility to secure internal, legislative and costumer demands when it comes to product safety and chemicals. To develop and implement Kappahl’s sustainability strategy when it comes to chemical and wastewater and minimize negative impact from chemicals in production. Your profile
We are seeking you who has higher education (min. 3 years university studies) relevant area and/or equivalent working experience within the topics concerned. Very good knowledge about chemicals used in production of textile, accessories, and footwear from raw material to finished product. Good knowledge of current and upcoming legislation on relevant topics. Prior experience of working with suppliers and textile production is merited.
As a person you are a reliable, strong team player open to changes and developments. You have a very good ability to create structure, analyze and take action and can convey messages and information in a clear and enthused way.
