Senior Brand Manager

Are you passionate about brand building and eager to play an important role in growing the Toca Boca brand while fostering generations of playful people?

In this 12 month fixed term role as the Senior Brand Manager for Toca Boca, you will be responsible for overseeing all in-market executions. You will be accountable for implementing the annual brand strategy and activation plan, anchored in Toca Boca’s Brand Foundations and the studio's annual business priorities. You will deliver high-impact campaigns and initiatives from concept through completion, balancing short-term business needs with the long-term vision of fostering generations of playful people who play well together.

Skills & Requirements

What you’ll be doing:

Overseeing all activations for the Toca Boca brand, ensuring alignment with the 3-Year Brand Strategy and Toca Boca Brand Foundations, including but not limited to 3rd Party Collaborations, Employer Branding, PR, licensing, and IRL Events.

Executing our 3rd Party Collaboration strategy (covering Brand, Music, and Influencer Collaborations) to deliver on our brand values and strategy, with the goal of building awareness, engagement, and retention, ensuring Toca Boca is a relevant and aspirational brand for tweens.

Proposing marketing research projects to gain brand and consumer insights in support of improved marketing strategy and communications.

Acting as Line Manager for the Influencer Marketing Specialist and Brand Partnership Consultant.

You have experience in developing and executing comprehensive brand strategies, with a passion for building and nurturing a strong brand presence.

You thrive on building strategic partnerships and collaborations, understanding their impact on KPIs such as brand awareness and consumer affinity. You’re adept at working with various stakeholders to deliver high-impact campaigns that resonate with your target audience.

You excel at proposing and implementing marketing research projects that provide valuable brand and consumer insights, supporting the continuous improvement of marketing strategies and communications.

You’ve successfully managed marketing budgets, ensuring efficient planning, spending, and tracking to maximize brand impact. You’re skilled at overseeing brand tracking initiatives and collaborating with external agencies and vendors to achieve brand objectives.

Your collaborative approach, combined with exceptional communication skills, allows you to work effectively with team members and partners alike. You’re fluent in spoken and written English, and you bring an analytical mindset to evaluate and enhance the performance of marketing campaigns.

This is a 12 month parental leave cover, based in our Stockholm studio with a hybrid working model (part office, part working from home). We apply a 6-month probationary period. You’ll need to be located in Sweden as we are unable to support relocation or offer fully remote work. As we’re an international company, with over 20 nationalities working here, and millions of users all over the world, you need to be fluent in English.
