In this role, you’ll be central to our tech-driven transformation over the coming years. Scandic IT / Tech is developing a new IT portfolio with an API- and Cloud-First strategy, moving towards agile deliveries that demand automation, flexibility, and scalability. You will become a key player, collaborating closely with our developers to create the conditions for successful deliveries and stable solutions, ensuring an improved digital customer journey.

About the role:

We are seeking a skilled professional to automate, optimize, and maintain our infrastructure on Azure, with a primary focus on Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS). The candidate will be responsible for implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing AKS clusters, and ensuring the secure and efficient operation of our software deployments. This vital position involves collaborating closely with our API- and integration development teams to enhance our digital customer experience through innovative technology solutions.

Technologies and Tools:

  • Microsoft Azure: Employ Azure and Azure DevOps for comprehensive management of services, APIs, and configurations.
  • Source Control : Manage coding repositories using BitBucket.
  • Deployment: Utilize Bicep for the efficient deployment of Azure resources.
  • Microservices Architecture: Leverage Azure Kubernetes Services to manage microservices.
  • API Security: Secure API exposure using Azure API Management with OAuth 2.0 authentication.
  • Monitoring: Track and troubleshoot deployments effectively with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.

Skills & Requirements

Who are you?

  • Proven experience in managing Azure environments and services, especially AKS and Azure API Management. Familiarity with OAuth 2.0 for securing APIs.
  • Skilled in using Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Proficient with Azure DevOps for CI/CD, familiar with Git and monitoring tools like Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
  • Experience with network configurations, security groups, and identity/access management in Azure.
  • Experience with the Curity identity server for API security is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in cloud environments.
  • Strong skills in communicating and collaborating effectively across different teams to drive project outcomes.
