In Q1 2019, to grow our business we spent over $23 Million on user acquisition, and our ads platform mediated over 15 ads sources delivering over 1 billion impressions per month. We are looking for someone ambitious that wants to push us to the next level!
In this role, you will shape our user acquisition, programmatic ads and cross-promotion offering for our F2P games. You will working closely with our games, ads and UA teams to define our roadmap. Then you will lead work with our internal R&D team and external partners (including Singular, AppNexus, Facebook, Unity Ads, Vungle, Google) to deliver for our customers.
You will join our Rovio Games Technology team. This team consists of 50 professionals providing our games teams with the means to bring their games to life every day. We make this happen through cloud-based services that enable the live operation, player engagement and monetisation of our games.
What you’ll take under your wings
Drive our user acquisition and programmatic advertising product vision - seeking for innovation to drive our games growth through UA tech and games revenue though our in-house ads service
Maintain roadmap and related epic pages gathering and prioritise input from our UA, advertising, and game teams
Act as Product Owner in agile development team Design EPICs and stories in enough technical detail before implementation
Ensure an end-to-end experience is delivered to our user acquisition team, advertising, business intelligence, and game teams
Ideally you have these skills:
5+ years of work experience as a Product Manager in mobile advertising and/or user acquisition
Experience of agile development - working with developers (data, front-end, client, server), UX designers and QA engineers. Ideally, you are a Certified Scrum Product Owner
Deep experience with several of the following: Attribution, UA campaign optimisation, programmatic ads (DSP, SSP), ads mediation, cross-promotion, ad networks, RTBs, Ads/XP placements. You should have a robust understanding of technology and terminology in these domains
Strong data driven approach leveraging big data insight to drive development and optimisation. Experience with machine learning a strong plus.
Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into technical deliverables for our developers
Able to work with and manage implementation with partners
BSc/MSc in Computer Science or a related technical field strongly preferred
