About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and personable Tech Lead to oversee our Data Platform Team and manage technical operations using agile methodologies. This role demands a deep understanding of technology, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders. You will provide strategic technical guidance to enhance the performance, reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness of our data solutions, adhering to industry best practices.

As a Tech Lead, you will be primarily responsible for the technical deliveries within the team. You will ensure that the team works effectively and that the technical development aligns with Scandic’s goals and vision.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ensuring high quality of technical deliveries
  • Leading and coaching the team in their daily work
  • Working closely with the business to prioritize and integrate business needs into technical development
  • Contributing to and driving change and improvement efforts in work processes
  • Maintaining and developing Scandic’s data platform and technical solutions

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Data Engineering, Data Science, Data Technology, or equivalent knowledge acquired through working experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role with demonstrated leadership skills and strong technical capabilities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with one or more platforms/services such as Matillion, Snowflake, Power BI, and Microsoft Data Platform.
  • Scrum/Agile Expertise: Proven experience as a Scrum Master or similar role, with a solid understanding of agile methodologies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
