Job Description

Our Nordic Finance team provides financial expertise to all our businesses and across all of SF Studios’ locations, from cash flow analysis and payments to budget and forecasting, accounting, reporting, and business analyses. One of our business areas includes the production of feature films like JerryMaya (LasseMajas Detektivbyrå) and Ett Sista Race, and TV series such as Ondskan and Snabba Cash.

We are now looking for a talented Production Accountant to join our team during parental leave of 1 year, starting as soon as possible to work until March 2025. In this, you will work closely with our production teams as well as other colleagues within Finance and our Shared Service partner Cognizant.

Responsibilities

As a Production Accountant, you will focus on customer billing, supplier invoicing, and handling of petty cash.

More specifically, you will:

  • Manage customer billing in a timely manner
  • Handle accounts receivables including collection processes
  • Handle supplier invoices and register in work-flow systems
  • Oversee payments made by our shared service center
  • Create and analyze AP and AR by compiling electronic data and required documentation
  • Responsible for administrating our digital system for petty cash and working closely with the production teams
  • Handling all controls and bookings regarding petty cash
  • Superuser in our systems Agresso, Aico, Rillion
  • Super-user and main responsible for our digital system for Petty Cash
  • Responsible for onboarding and training in our financial systems
  • System support to production colleagues
  • Be the main point of contact for the production accountant for each project.
  • Other ad hoc activities and projects within the Finance

You will be a key member of our Nordic Finance team and report to SF Studios' Nordic Production Controlling Manager. The role is based in Stockholm.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, we believe you have:

  • A university degree in finance or equivalent finance work experience
  • At least 2-4 years of experience working with AP/AR
  • Experience from working with Petty cash
  • Experience in film production, media, tech, construction, or telecom business is meritorious but not required
  • Technical skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, but also experience working with different financial systems
  • Experience from being a super-user in financial systems
  • Fluent in English and Swedish
