Analog Design Engineer for ASIC Development

Murata Finland is developing leading edge gyroscope and accelerometer safety-critical sensors for global automotive, industrial and healthcare markets. We design full custom mixed mode ASICs from concept level to volume production. We are looking for an Analog ASIC Design Engineer to join our ASIC Design team in Vantaa, Finland. This is a temporary replacement, and the fixed-term contract starts as soon as possible and continues until 31st Dec 2024.

Your main responsibilities are analog and mixed mode ASIC design, verification and specification work. You work with internal design team, design partners and project manager. Murata has flexible remote work policy in Finland and way of working can be planned according to your personal needs.

In order to be successful in this position, these are the essential qualifications:

  • Technical education (e.g. M.Sc) with emphasis on microelectronics
  • Basic understanding of the most common analog blocks (e.g. opamps, current mirrors, voltage references, AD/DA converters)

  • You have experience or readiness to learn on

    • Design and verification of analog blocks using EDA tools
    • Layout design using EDA tools
    • Modeling and simulation of analog blocks with System Verilog
    • Support of ASIC characterization
    • Modeling and simulation system solutions with Matlab or Simulink
    • You communicate fluently in English
    • Systematic and careful way of working
    • You are innovative and interested in working in an international environment

In this role you have a chance to further develop yourself to design various analog ASIC blocks for our unique technology and learn from highly skilled colleagues. You are a part of ASIC Design Team in ASIC implementation and you have excellent visibility to all ASIC design phases for development of the safety critical products.
