Job Description
We are looking for experienced Windows consultants to be part of our Dynamic teams for one of our North American Clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in different Microsoft products, with a focus on Administration, development and Troubleshooting skills developing innovative solutions for complex problems.
Responsibilities:
- System Analysis: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' Windows environments, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure, to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- System Administration: Provide ongoing administration and maintenance of Windows servers, including monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, applying patches and updates, and managing user accounts and permissions.
- Client Support and Training: Offer technical support and guidance to clients, addressing their queries, resolving issues, and conducting training sessions to enhance their understanding and utilization of Windows technologies.
- Stay Updated: Continuously stay informed about the latest developments, trends, and best practices in Windows technologies, ensuring the ability to provide up-to-date advice and recommendations to clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of Experience in Microsoft products administration and support.
- Outstanding English communication, both verbal and non-verbal.
- Strong PowerShell skills – Ability to read, write, and troubleshoot moderately complex scripts.
- Strong Windows Server(2012 and newer) Administration and troubleshooting working knowledge.
- Basic network troubleshooting skills – basic understanding of the OSI model.
- Basic familiarity with vCenter.
System Center (ECM, SCOM, IIS) Focus
Key Requirements:
- Excellent working knowledge and troubleshooting capabilities for SCCM server roles (Site Servers, Site Systems, SSRS, Management Points, Software Update Points/WSUS, Distribution Points, etc.)
- Excellent working knowledge of SCCM/ECM RBAC.
- Experience with ECM Current Branch upgrades.
- Excellent working knowledge and troubleshooting capabilities for SCOM server roles (Management Points, Gateways, SSRS, Web Consoles, etc.).
- Strong working knowledge of SCOM monitor and rule tuning (good understanding of management packs and overrides).
- Excellent working knowledge and troubleshooting capabilities for IIS.
- Basic knowledge of T-SQL.
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Good understanding of applications and packages packaging in ECM.
- Good understanding of Intune (including co-pilot) and Co-Management.
- Good understanding of Active Directory, particularly user and account objects.
- Basic HTML/CSHTML.
- Familiarity with the following 1E products: Shopping, AppClarity, AppMigration, SLA, Tachyon, Catalog would be a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Azure/Entra ID including app registrations.
On Prem Domain Services (AD, DNS, LDAP, etc. Core Services) Focus
Key Requirements:
Excellent working knowledge of Active Directory and troubleshooting capabilities including, but not limited to:
- OU structure and permissions.
- LDAP.
- Kerberos.
- Sites and Services.
- Replication.
- Excellent working knowledge and troubleshooting skills for DNS.
- Common types of records (TXT, MX, A, CNAME, NS, etc.).
- Forward zones, conditional forwarders, reverse zones, etc.
- Active Directory integrated DNS required.
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with BlueCat DNS or BIND DNS.
- Familiarity with Linux.
- Good working knowledge of Certificate Services/PKI.
- Familiarity with Azure AD/Entra ID from an IDM perspective (app registrations, Enterprise apps configuration, OAuth / ODIC / SAML troubleshooting).
- Familiarity with Dynamic group rule creation/troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Azure Active Directory Connect (AADC).
- Dell and/or Cisco server hardware familiarity.
