Role overview:

With our state-of-the-art IT platform for emergency services vehicles, we strive to improve the efficiency and safety of emergency services throughout the UK. We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager who will spearhead Evam's entry into the UK market. This senior-level position merges sales, business development, and industry knowledge, forming a critical and unique resource dedicated to propelling our business growth in the UK.

You will be the first person on Evam's UK team and will navigate the market entry in close collaboration with Evam's global management team based in Sweden. After business begins to develop in the UK market, Evam's UK team will grow accordingly. Your career growth opportunities include becoming the Managing Director for the UK.


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to penetrate the UK public safety market together with Evam's global management team.
  • Generate leads and manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to deal closure and implementation.
  • Assist Evam's global product team to ensure great product-market-fit of Evam's solutions in the UK market.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders within the public safety sector.
  • Manage customer pilots in UK ensuring successful implementations.
  • Manage larger scale implementations, coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Act as the face of Evam in the UK public safety market, enhancing the company's reputation and building brand awareness.
Skills & Requirements


  • Proven experience in business development, sales or product management specifically within the UK public safety or emergency services market.
  • Existing network within the UK public safety industry.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and technical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Agile aware, with a keen understanding of how to adapt strategies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Security clearance, or the ability to obtain one, is essential.
