​​The role is to act as key interface between the Production Quality and Supply Chain Organization. Will be the primary contact for Supplier Quality Issues escalated by Production Quality when supplier quality issue is the reason. Will be approving short- and long-term actions from suppliers and ask for 8D reports. Also, quick actions in form of Supplier AoDs.

Ensure our suppliers’ processes which affect the company’s ability to deliver according to zero-defect principle are effective and robust.

Responsibilities and Authority Rights:

  • Review claim checklists determine if valid supplier claim or not.
  • Ensures supplier's short and long-term solutions for nonconformities are implemented.
  • Escalate/Ensure where a current supplier not meeting the standard acceptance criteria they shall be developed.
  • For nominated supplier/s have full accountability to solve the quality related issues within timely manner (long term actions of claims, critical claims causing potential production stoppers)
  • Ensures for receiving and reviewing 8D reports prior to closure of claims.
  • Responsible for creating Supplier AoDs (Approval of Deviations) when needed.
  • Responsible for sending out claims to suppliers.
  • Responsible for creating return orders/customer orders to return parts back to suppliers.
  • Ensure continuous improvement is a natural part of everyday work.

In this entrepreneurial setting, we value go-getters who take initiative, remain resilient, and prioritize collaboration over ego. In addition, we believe that you need to have the following qualifications to thrive in this role:

  • ​University degree in Quality or other relevant training.
  • ​Preferred a minimum of 3 years documented quality related experience.
  • ​(Good to have) knowledge and experience of quality systems IATF 16949 (Quality Systems Management) and/or ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 (Environmental Systems Management).
  • ​(Good to have) knowledge of AIAG’s core tools. APQP, PPAP. FMEA, MSA, and SPC. knowledge of e.g., Lean Manufacturing systems including standardized work, overall equipment efficiency (OEE), single minute exchange of dies (SMED, tact time, real time management, consumption-controlled inventory, balanced and level workflows, kaizen events, 5S methodology, seven forms of waste and Six Sigma Green Belt education.
  • ​Knowledge of core tools, i.e., 8D-report, VA/VE, Fish bone analysis.
