Are you a Unity Developer passionate about making commercially successful games, creating kick ass, high performing game features that delight our players? Awesome!

Our Stockholm Studio is the studio behind the hugely popular Angry Birds 2, the bigger, badder and birdier sequel to the global phenomenon that put Angry Birds on the map. While they continue to expand and improve that title, they are developing new IPs and game ideas, specifically within the RPG genre, with the mission of becoming the best mobile RPG developer in the west. This presents a great opportunity for the studio to mix their experience with accessible, inclusive, mass-market games, with their personal love for RPGs. Their design pillars are: dynamic, character-driven, and highly social. They are motivated to create mid-core games that are both approachable and challenging.

This role is quite broad and we're looking for someone with experience from all areas of game programming, including mobile game optimizations, social features, UI, as well as backend systems and databases.

Your responsibilities as Unity Developer:

  • Help the Angry Birds 2 team take the game to the next level
  • Architect and implement game features and systems
  • Maintain and improve the code base
  • Work actively to help the team achieve project targets
  • Drive communication and knowledge sharing within the team
  • Help improve processes, tools and the way the team works

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years of programming experience
  • Strong programming skills using C#
  • Proven game development background in commercial mobile f2p projects

It'd be great if you have some of these:

  • Good understanding of mobile platforms and hardware
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Deep interest in playing mobile f2p RPGs
  • Knowledge about mobile backends
  • Proficient in debugging, profiling and performance optimization
  • Broad knowledge of game architecture and technologies (gameplay, rendering,
  • physics, AI, networking)
