We are looking for a highly motivated new team member to our Financial Quality and Assurance team. In this position you will join a highly qualified team that work with a variety of tasks within IFRS, financial and tax, and internal control for financial reporting and ICFR on a Nordic level.

The FQ&A team is responsible deliver accurate and timely representation of the Bank’s financial performance in accordance with laws and regulations, as well as maintain the internal control framework for the Bank. All statutory reporting definition and accounting treatment is to be defined by this team. This role offers significant breadth, and you will collaborate with a team of dedicated and competent professionals. One of your main responsibilities will be to lead our internal governance work related to accounting policies and ICFR. You will also work closely with a colleague as subject matter expert for SOX.

Main activities

  • Subject matter expert for SOX
  • Drive improvements, standardization, and process efficiency.
  • Maintaining and developing the Nordic Chart of Accounts, reporting and ICFR for the Bank.
  • Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual reporting process.
  • Quality review of account reconciliations and accounting monitoring.
  • Consult and advice in accounting and ICFR matters.
  • Participate and/or drive project and other ad hoc matters

Competence and skills

  • Solid knowledge of IFRS
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple and logical manner
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience with internal control would be an advantage
  • Self-starter, quick learner, and flexible team player
  • Enjoys driving change and improvement initiatives
  • Structured
  • Solid in written and spoken English. Proficiency in one of the Nordic language is required


  • Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience or from a similar position


  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Economics or Finance. Other experience may compensate for educational requirements.
