As a part of a Site Team Installed Base Services, Commissioning Supervisor:
- Responsible for proper performance of tests and commissioning of the equipment supplied under the terms of the contract, in accordance with the time and work schedule drawn up by the Site Works Manager / Coordinator or Project Manager.
- Prepares, performs, manages and validates the site equipment tests, in compliance with the quality procedures and safety regulations, to ensure that the works are accepted by the customer.
- Manages a team of commissioning specialists, makes functional reports.
- Represents the Company in front of the Customer during the tests.
- Ensures that the annotated drawings are collected and transmitted when the tests have been completed.
Scope and Environment:
- Part of a Global Customer Projects Operations / Project Operational Support / Site Works Department;
- Project technical team based in REP Bratislava working among one or several sites/countries.
Key Activities and Responsibilities:
Commissioning - Test documentation & Update of drawings for conversion to "AS BUILT" status:
- Able to prepare the test procedures and the test folder, in coordination with Site Works Coordinator / Project manager or Technical Leader.
- Responsible for notification of measurements and tests results on the documents provided for this purpose and have them signed by the customer or his on-site representative who was present at the tests and/or who validated them.
- Ensure that the "RED MARKS" documents are done and centralized after the tests, so that they can be sent and well taken into account by the Design Office for the final "AS BUILT" drawings.
- Collect from all involved parties (Customer, supplier, sub-contractors etc.) all information required for drawings update.
- Coordinate and communicate with Design Office any design modification ( wiring, parameters, etc.)
Commissioning - Test tool check:
- Checks that the measurement instruments and equipment used for the on-site tests are valid and have been correctly maintained.
- Informs the Site Works Manager / Coordinator before the calibration expiry date is passed, or of any poor condition noticed.
- Follows applicable procedure related to tracking of condition of tools (use of "Tools Track").
Commissioning - Detection and reporting of Non-conformances found as a result of the tests:
- Reports non-conformances and customer's reservations to Site Works Manager / Coordinator or Project Manager by mean of proper tool / template (NCR + Site report templates);
- Reports any punch items identified to Site Works Manager / Coordinator or Project Manager by dedicated tool / template;
- Updates the event tracker file any time needed to record any issue on site.
Follow-up and reporting of commissioning and maintenance activities:
- - Regularly provide reports including spent hours (timesheet) / costs on site to Site Works Manager / Coordinator or Project Manager;
- In case of need propose and implement any necessary corrective actions (refer to site report template);
- Works in close relationship with the Technical Leader (Corporate office) project execution team; and technical expert from Site Works Team
- Provides the Project Manager or Site Works Manager / Coordinator with regular assessment of project risks and propose corrective plans & actions.
- At the project meetings, give all the necessary information about the schedule, resources, site safety conditions (access, co-activity, particular technical difficulty, etc.).
- Update the expenses and charges in Schneider Electric standard tool.
Coordination of commissioning team / subcontractors:
- Organizes and supports the Commissioning team;
- Prepare and update Site Test Schedule, in coordination with Site Works Coordinator;
- Coordinates subcontractors and approves the subcontractors’ progress reports;
- Notifies in due time the external attendees (Client, Third Party...) to specific test / inspection when required;
- Reports any organizational requirements or manpower needs to meet the objectives for the installation & Commissioning scope of work to Project Manager or Site Works Manager / Coordinator;
- Attends and actively participates on regular Commissioning meetings organized by Client, Project Management team or Site Team.
Application of Safety regulations:
- Carry out works corresponding to the assigned authorization level;
- Draw up the safety plan or make sure that one is available;
- Ensure the safety of the test phases to be carried out on site (markers, energizing procedure, issuing of work permits, LOTO procedures).
- Ensure that the work permit procedure is complied with during the tests.
- Throughout the work, manage the safety aspects with the customer;
- Ensure that work is performed in conformance with Company´s Global safety instructions, local requirements of countries where the job is performed, the "Safety instructions applicable on site" and the provisions of the Job Safety Analysis
- Risk Analysis assessment;
- Use your right to opt out in the event of serious imminent danger.
- Informs superiors in the event of irregularities.
- Applies all safety rules and regulations to subcontractors
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Electrotechnical education
Languages:
- English - Fluent (C1)
- Other languages are a plus
Experience:
- Up to 5 years of experience with commissioning LV and/or MV Equipments
- Working on site or in an Electro-Mechanical design office minimum 6 months
- Confirmed experience or litteracy for MV (Premset, MCSET, PIX), Protection Relays (SEPAM, Micom, Easergy), UPS APC Symmetra and LV Distribution panels (Blokset, Okken, Prisma) is advantage
- Experience in any competitor equipment is advantage

- Ability to communicate (written, verbal) in clear and synthetic manner on technical issues/topics.
- Good Software tools literacy: MS Office, Acrobat, Outlook, Testing device software(Omicron), Protection Relays Setting software
- Advanced Knowledge of Medium voltage/Low voltage equipment, Power stations and principles, The latest technologies and commissioning test principles
Other:
- Based in Europen Union and able to travel internationally for 75 % working time (Europe)
