We are looking for a dedicated Logistic Maintenance Supervisor to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our passionate Logistic Maintenance team based in Skellefteå. By joining us, you will be a key player in building one of the first large scale European battery factories.

About the job:
In this job you will develop and execute maintenance strategy for logistic maintenance with world class mindset in terms of availability and cost. You will lead, develop and motivate a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure a prominent level of performance and professionalism. You responsibility will also be to conduct regular inspections of equipment to find maintenance needs and potential issues, and from that coordinate and perform repairs, maintenance, and upgrades as necessary.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for development and execution of maintenance strategy in the logistic maintenance area.
  • Receive, schedule and assign tasks to maintenance staff, monitoring their progress and ensuring timely completion of work orders.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to ensure the ongoing reliability of equipment and machinery.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and costs incurred.
  • Help in the development and management of the maintenance department budget, ensuring that resources are distributed efficiently and effectively.

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have :

  • BSc or MSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent University degree with good understanding of basic financial principles
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing, industrial, or facility management environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatical systems.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach to addressing maintenance challenges.
  • Ability in computer applications for maintenance management and record-keeping.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols related to maintenance activities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies when needed
