As an SEO Specialist in our company, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing websites , enhancing their organic search visibility, and boosting rankings on search engine results pages (SERPs). Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough keyword research, implementing effective on-page and off-page optimization strategies, and analyzing website performance to drive targeted traffic and strengthen our online presence.
Tech stack? Proficiency in using cutting-edge SEO tools is essential for this role, such as, Google Search Console, SEMrush, BrightEdge , or similar platforms. Additionally, familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website development will give you an advantage in executing your duties successfully.
Location? We embrace a hybrid work approach and invite you to join us in our office in Oslo for a few days per week. This allows for collaboration and meaningful connections with our talented team.

WHO ARE YOU?
To excel in this role as an SEO Specialist, we are seeking someone with the following qualities:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian language and English. You have the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You possess the ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and draw actionable insights that will drive our SEO strategies forward.
Experience with website analytics and reporting. You are well-versed in using tools and platforms to measure website performance, track key metrics, and generate insightful reports.
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling various tasks and priorities with ease while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

WHAT’S THE JOB LIKE?
As an SEO Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
Conducting keyword research and analyzing content for optimization.
Implementing on-page and off-page optimization techniques.
Technical SEO & creation of Jira tickets.
Monitoring website performance and generating insightful reports.
Aligning work with the central SEO strategy.
Collaborating closely with stakeholders from various departments eg Marketing, UX, Product/Tech, Insights & Analytics.
Developing business cases and pitching SEO improvements.
Staying updated on industry trends.
Providing ad hoc support to the SEO team.
Colleagues
The SEO Specialist collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, such as content creators, web developers, and marketing professionals, to ensure effective implementation of SEO best practices.
