Master Thesis - Test and Validation

We are looking for a Master student to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The student will be part of our excellent Test & Validation (T&V) Team based in Skellefteå.
By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing Northvolt’s scheduling tool for Test and Validation and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.
About the job
You will be responsible for implementing a new Scheduling tool; a software we can use to plan upcoming tests and assist with performing data analysis on a variety of battery testing experiments. You will analyse historic data and investigate trends that will support future scheduling optimization. The final solution will be implemented on-line as a proof of concept.
About the team
You will be joining the Test and Validation team and you will be guided by our experts in data analysis, and our Cell Test Engineers. You will learn how a day-in-life-of (DILO) a battery expert looks, and work hand-by hand with the lab team to understand the process flow to implement the desired solution.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- State-of-the-art research on available solutions and understanding on what variations are needed to be implemented by T&V team.
- Present and discuss the selected solution with the proposed modifications to decide which one to implement with the team.
- Implement the solution with the available data and test it offline.

Implement the solution on-line.

Define the requirements for the optimization of the process by connecting the created tool with the existent software.
