Compensation & Benefits Specialist

Northvolt has an exciting opportunity for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our team in Stockholm. In joining us you will play an important part in building one of the first large-scale European battery factories, a great step forward in the transformation to a carbon free society. Given the timing at which you will be joining Northvolt and the early stage of the company, you will be given a unique chance to impact the development of a new company and industry in Sweden.

We are looking for a self-led Compensation & Benefits Specialist who is structured and has a hands-on mentality. You will support the different teams at Northvolt with a wide range of Compensation & Benefits matters. Your work will consist of, but will not be limited to, the following:

  • Working on and developing our benefits offering together with external providers and systems
  • Develop and manage the annual salary review process in strong cooperation with the rest of the HR team and management
  • Gender pay gap reporting
  • Day-to-day responsibility of our Long Term Incentive program
  • Process ownership and development of the compensation module in our new HR system together with the HRIS team
  • Act as an internal specialist to HR and stay on top of market practice, and co-create innovative solutions and offerings to further strengthen our employee value proposition

Skills & Requirements

Who you are

We believe that you have a proven track record from a similar role. Experience from working with Swedish collective bargaining agreements and unions is a big plus, as well as good knowledge of Swedish benefits taxation. Northvolt makes green batteries for a blue planet. Affordable cells and high-quality battery systems. All manufactured with a record-low carbon footprint. Purposely built to provide Europe with the opportunity to switch to renewable energy – efficiently and entirely.
