Overall responsibility
We’re looking for a Credit Controller to join our Finance Department. Our ideal candidate thrives when being challenged and is enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment. You will liaise with our Collections, Billing, Sales and Customer Support teams to solve customer queries swiftly. Your role will ensure timely payment of outstanding customer invoices and improve our cash collections.
You will be part of an international team who is driving customer collection performance and compliance to our internal processes through Accounts Receivable/Credit & Collections.
You will be firstly reporting to our Commercial Manager and then on to our Head of Credits and Collections.

About you
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 3 years’ experience in Credit Control/Collections/Accounts Receivable, ideally in a high-volume customer industry and an understanding of either SAAS, ecommerce logistics or carrier networks. A good administrator willing to help our organisation to improve the order to cash flows. nShift operates across a number of European markets, as a result the ability to communicate in another European language would be an advantage (though not essential).
The area of responsibilities includes:
- Create and follow processes to ensure timely payment of outstanding customer invoices
- Investigate and recommend the best course of actions for overdue invoices
- Follow up relevant queries and resolve escalations in close cooperation with Sales Billing, Customer Support teams.
- Manage nShift’s external receivable collection partner relationships
- Support Finance projects to improve organisational processes
- Occasional essential travel will be expected

Our ideally candidate would have the following traits, experiences, and qualifications.
- +3 years’ experience in Collections/ Accounts Receivable, in a high-volume customer industry is an advantage.
- Relevant degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance and Accounting and/or any high numeracy degree (Preferred but not essential)
- Strong communicator, highly analytical and have excellent problem solving skills

Flexible mindset and can-do attitude; willingness to adapt to meet the organizational needs.

Experience with NetSuite and Tesorio (Preferred but not essential)

Experience working with MS Office applications, strong excel skill is preferred.

Fluency in written and spoken English is a must, command in other European languages is a plus.

Experience within SaaS, Ecommerce, Logistics or Carrier Networks (Preferred but not essential)
